Location:
One block south of the Ypsilanti Water Tower. Across the street from EMU. Near Mike’s Book Store.
Interior:
A huge Victorian one-family home has been subdivided into three houses with separate addresses under one roof (219-221-223). The home is carpeted throughout and has tiled baths and kitchen areas. 219 and 221 were completely remodeled in 2002. 223 is scheduled for remodeling in the summer of 2003. What sets 233 apart from the other areas is a uniquely preserved feel of the old Victorian era: some stained glass windows, woodwork and cozy corners make this house feel truly homey. The common areas are huge. Two outside porches allow for out-of door enjoyment during the summer months.
Pets and Garden:
This unit is approved for cats only. It has no useable backyard. What makes this property unique is a beautifully fenced-in area in the front surrounded by shrubs and trees that allows tenants to sit outside. Lanterns have been placed along a private walk and a paved area allows for grilling. A small area of the front is available for gardening.
Parking, Amenities and Utilities:
Unit 223 has two entrances, including a spacious entry area in the front. A drive leads to designated parking spaces behind the house. More parking on streets within one block. Washer and dryer are not part of the setup yet but scheduled for installation by December 2003. Tenants of 219-221-223 are expected to share this facility. Two huge refrigerators come in handy!
Schools, Shopping and Highways:
Ypsilanti Schools. Walking distance to EMU and Depot Town. Convenient distance to I-94 and shopping areas.
